Wasted my money in buying it and wasted my time in reading it. That’s all I will say.
I don't often leave reviews but I have to get this off of my chest.
I had to take off a star for the adopted brother and sister romance. I'm sorry, but I just can't do it. In fact, I feel uncomfortable with the fact that the author seems to be trying to write this as some great romance or love story in the first place. No thanks.
I can't seem to warm up to Avery or Atlas because of this weird thing that colors all of their interactions. They're not rootable. It's a shame because Rylin and Cord are pretty cute and the other relationship and characters aren't half bad. But any progress or momentum in the novel gets derailed once we return to the sibling love story.

This sounded so good and the cover is so beautiful but the story was so bleh! There are some interesting characters, conflicts, and relationship dynamics, but this all felt like one really long, really dramatic episode of futuristic 90210.

Although the world building of this book was interesting, a choice the author made spoiled it completely for me. She choose to romanticize a relationship between the main character and her adoptive brother. (Yes, they do sleep together.) It cast a sick light over the whole book for me and spoiled the book completely for me. I also picked up racist stereotypes with some of the characters. Therefore, I cannot in good conscience, recommend it for anyone. Avoid.

Entertaining think isolated social experiments.
loved the characters, the relationships between them and how it affects the story. loved the end.
A really good read with sci-fi elements in a futuristic New York but too much drama.
Thought it would lean more into the dystopian side--read more like "Gossip Girl." Sibling incest (even if not blood-related) was a big turn-off.
