How does Morse Code in 2120 when America is long forgotten? Also, Eadlyn SUCKS
adventurous hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

I'm disappointed with this book. I guess Eadlyn ended up with Erik so that this book wouldn't be a cliché and the same story as before, with America and Maxon, but I don't understand how they fell in love. It seemed really quick and it made much more sense with Kile, in my opinion. However, I gave this book 3 stars instead of 2 because I liked the rest of the story, it had very interesting elements. In the end, I was just a bit sad with such an unsatisfying ending.

Updated review:

I read this a while back, I would agree with the comments. The society is never explained and the story is loose, nothing important (almost) ever happens to the characters and the misogynistic society is never addressed. Will bump this down to three stars because it was ok.

Earlier review:

I loved the selection series. I do realise it is basically the bachelor but the characters are great and there is more to the story. I love how the society is set up. Recommend!

I want to give this a higher rating, but unfortunately it probably deserves a lower one. I enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong. I was entertained and loved reading it. However, it felt very rushed. I felt like it either could have been one book (with The Heir) or it could have been three books. I wish there had been more action and that it had been harder for her to send boys away. It all just went too smoothly. It just felt like the author became lazy on this one or was trying to get it done as fast as possible. I liked a lot of the characters and how it ended up. I just wish there had been more to make it more fleshed out.

I really loved the first three. And I understand but I really think Eady and Kile should have worked things out and ended up together. I felt like they had so much more of a connection and the other stuff kinda just came out of no where.
