While I still enjoyed this book, I found it my least favourite of the series. I found Astrid and Jordan to be interesting, but not as sympathetic to how they handled the conflict in the book. Still a good entry and I wonder if I had read them in order if I would have liked this one more.

This was a delight to read!  I really enjoyed seeing Astrid & Jordan’s journey, and how they gave each other the confidence & courage to go for what they wanted.  I thought the tension that these two had was apparent right from the start, with their meet-horrible setting the tone of their relationship.  I loved seeing this tension play right through the book and was reading with a smile as the tension turned to UST!

I also enjoyed seeing their relationships with the people around them, especially Astrid and her friends & her stepsister.  I did feel that while I enjoyed this story very much, it was just missing that something magical that would take it to the next level.

idc about the character development or the lack of a fully solved life crisis bandaged by a soulmate love, it made me happy to read and at the end of the day, that's what it's all about for me

Ashley Blake does it again! I loved Astrid and Jordan’s story!
Wow I didn’t expect Jordan’s wife to have left her after recovering from cancer. I liked that revelation in the book and how it wasn’t like she was a widow type of thing. I liked how the show was cancelled but Jordan was able to get featured in the magazine and Astrid acknowledged her love for baking. I also love how the sisters’ stories are entwined and how Delilah’s story set up Astrid’s which set up Iris! The lesbian sex sex was amazing too hehe. And Astrid using the two of cups tarot card to apologize and make up with Jordan was very cute, I love details like that

As a recovering stressed out perfectionist who came out later in life after a divorce, and who works in the design industry, I have to say, this was right up my alley.  I have never really liked romance books... But queer romance is a while different story apparently.
