This book was SO adorable! I loved the friendships and the family dynamics and the sarcastic way of thinking of the main character. Her passion for her job, but still not knowing what she wants to do with her life is somehow very relatable and it was a refreshing thing to see in a book. About 25% in it was already very clear how this was going to end, but still I was hooked and I wanted to know what was going to happen. It's also quite obvious what the next few books will be about and I can't WAIT to read them! Highly enjoyable, just a bit predictable at times, that's why a 4.5 stars from me.

Oh man. This book was…interesting. Honestly, the MC was super immature and annoying, but then around the 50% mark, grew up. No development, no reason why, she just kinda changed into a much more tolerable person. Her friends were annoying. Her siblings were awful. Jason was ok but still pretty immature. It was a cute premise but just fell way short of the mark for me

A cute Sunday afternoon read.

Twenty-Five years old Sophie is dating one weirdo after another. Except for her ex, none of them are bad just plain weird. But no one wants to continue dating them which leads her and her friends to form the No More Bad Dates pact. While this is the main crux of the story, we also get to see her personal growth and her relationship with her family, colleagues and her hot roommate, Jason.

I loved that the book was set in NZ. The characters were interesting and some were downright adorable. The storytelling was smooth with some laugh out loud moments. Jason and Sophie were cute together but I would have liked to read more of them together. All in all, this is a nice feel-good chick-lit.

Did not jive with the writing. Set it down when the FMC said “that’s so random! Why would you say that?” while laughing to the MMC.

I wish there was more substance with the couple after they got together. I didn’t like how that was like the last page of the book.
