I am angry about the plot, but less at the characters in comparison to the first book. Firstly, I wish Jacob mattered even a little bit in the climax, but instead he was literally in a different country. There was more thinly veiled gender stereotyping, and Bella based her quality of life purely on which guy was with her. The Victoria part wasn't so bad, and I honestly thought Edward was hanging around giving Bella warnings when she was acting the adrenaline junkie. Note-to-self: don't get deluded into reading this again (even though you will most definitely finish this series to get it over with).

This book is where I suppose the kind version of Jacob Black comes to an end. Not looking forward to his a-hole tendencies being overlooked by our dearest Bella, nor his pedophilic intentions being glossed over as something swoon-worthy. Again, ew.
