This is the twilight book I liked less. When Edward leaves Bella she turns into the most annoying character ever ( I really want to slap her face). Then she "meets" Jacob and the thing gets a bit better. But then you discover he's as dumb as Edward in his own way. And when she's finally starting to forget the shiny guy and doing her life again the guy wants to kill himself, so she leaves everything behind just to save him, even when she knows he's probably gonna dump her again (so stupid!). And we have to deal with all this crap while she tries to kill herself (she's putting herself in mortal danger which is the same) over and over again just to hear his voice again (seriously?!). The last book I could get over Bella's stupidity because the story was pretty interesting, but this one didn't do the trick. I've been able to get through it just because I really wanted to read Breaking Down and I needed to read the previous books before.

New Moon picks up where Twilight left off with Edward and Bella's intensely unhealthy relationship. But then Edward dumps Bella, and the whole Cullen family moves away. Bella is almost on the verge of suicide, and we have to hear about just how almost on the verge of suicide she is over and over and over for the next few hundred pages. During this time, Bella gets closer and closer to her friend Jacob. Bella and Jacob actually have things in common, and have normal conversations, and do things together. So their more realistic and healthy relationship only makes her relationship with Edward look that much more ridiculous, unrealistic, and alarmingly unhealthy.

5 stars for nostalgia again. i do not remember bella leading jacob on THAT much, girl really put him through the ringer. i just felt bad for him, i’ll always be a vampire girly through and through but poor jacob deserved better. bella continued to be pretty insufferable in this one, also

Dame el personaje mas toxico, manipulador e hipocrita que tengas. {aparece Bella} No! No tanto!! jajajaja

Estoy segura que es el que mas me gustara de la saga... POR JACOB!!!

Stephenie Meyer there is no forgiveness for how you chose to write your native characters. Just none. Please stick to writing vampires and white people. I remember this leaving a sour taste in my mouth as a preteen but it got a whole lot worse with age. And I wanted to jump Bella this whole book bro she played in Jacob’s face wayyyy to much that poor poor kid. You deserve better than her Jacob.
