Skoro celá knížka bez Edwarda, takže to celé ztrácí asi tak polovinu atraktivity. Pořád jsem těch 550 stran nebo kolik přečetla za pár dní, takže se to musí extrémně dobře číst. (Zítra teda do knihovny pro další díl, I guess.) Taky jsem to ale tak rychle proběhla, protože jsem si to ještě docela pamatovala z filmu a jsem hrozně zvědavá, co bude dál a jak to celé dopadne. I don't know what I'm doing, but this is my hot girl summer this year.

Charlie cannot chill with Bella for one second. Bella vlastně není vůbec likeable character. Může mi někdo říct o nějakých věcech, které jsou na ní sympatické? To, že je tak 80 % času damsel in distress mě taky vlastně dost rozčiluje, ale ne tolik jako ve filmech.

Taky nechápu, že vůbec existuje nějaký diskurz Tým Edward vs Tým Jakob, Tým Jakob who, it's just a child with a silly little crush.

A taky mě nakonec vlastně bavila ta Shakespearovská paralela. Jako teenager bych to určitě milovala mnohem víc.

Kromě toho čím dál víc vidím where is 50 shades of gray as a Twilight fanfiction coming from. If you know what I mean.

This is like what happens when the honeymoon is over. At first, I was kind of depressed by this sequel to Twilight, but there were definitely some good aspects to it. First, Bella stopped being such a weenie. She still kind of is, but she has more fun in this book. Non-romantic fun, I mean. It also sets up a great third volume. Plus, I heart Jacob.

I've been listening to the audio of this book, and I have thoughts. First of all, to Bella: If you want to have no self esteem, I guess that's your own business, but leave the rest of humanity out of it. Seriously, the next time you say something about not being special or attractive or useful because you're only human, I will reach into my cd player and punch your face. I'm human, and I rock!

To Edward: You suck. Dang, I didn't mean to make that into the world's lamest vampire pun. Anywho, someone needs to tell you off, and since Bella's not going to, it might as well be me. Stop making me hate you!

I actually enjoyed this book way more than the first one because of the new characters. Also maybe because bella isn’t constantly talking/thinking about Edward?

I loved jacob and bella’s friendship and I especially LOVE CHARLIE. I am team Charlie. Stop torturing that man bella.
