holy moly, this book! We've gotten so many answers already in the previous novels but this one, this one tells you EVERYTHING!
I gave this book 3 stars because of the flip flop in the beginning. It almost felt like added padding that didn't really need to be there. We already know how mercurial Jeremy is, the fact we were given another "nice" side of him felt a little repetitive but, his shift back to Stonehart was epic.
I personally don't see a happy ending in this series. Jeremy Stonehart is too invested in revenge. I don't think he knows how to stop anymore. I'm curious to see what the end looks like.

I can hardly keep up with the back and forth. Stone heart is evil, Stoneheart is a product of his upbringing. she loves him, she hates him. Its becoming nauseating. What started as a captivating mystery is quickly devolving into a boring and lengthy saga I couldn't care less about. I am all for authors who write multi-dimensional character, because that is enthralling, that is what makes me want to read on. Unfortunately Jeremy Stoneheart is not such a character. He is simply demented in the truest sense of the word.

I swear, every time I think I have a handle on the plot, something else happens to throw me off. Jeremy's evil mind knows no bounds. His devious plans are limitless it seems. I want to call him a sociopath, but I actually believe that he truly loves Lilly. I guess it's best to list his sociopath qualities rather than fitting him with a label. He's definitely apathetic. The way he clinically decides to drug, abuse, and manipulate Lilly is coldblooded.

The scene of Russian Roulette was insane. And now that Lilly has decided to stay by his side, Jeremy finally shows her how completely corrupted he is. I want to know what his ultimate plan is for Charles, Rose and Hugh.
