I would actually recommend this to people I care about, as opposed to books about manifesting. I appreciate how it boils down to letting go, following your intuition, and being open to experiences. The general idea of muses, or being worked through for good, is appealing to me as an artist and a compassionate person. While I don't believe in a person-god, I believe that being open and positive helps you pay attention and take advantage of opportunities. It's kind of like taking off your headphones so you can actually hear and look people in the eye. And then you might make a new friend, or help someone, or be helped.

Quick read. Nice reminder of how the Universe, the Divine, God, whatever you believe in guides what occurs in our lives.

Filled with a lot of New Age fluff that I'm not the biggest fan of (like astrology), but overall the core message is a good one.

I love Silver's boundless enthusiasm for the universe and its magic. Her energy is so contagious, and I know next time I'm sitting in traffic or stressed at work I will reflect on her words and try to find my own inner peace. I wish this book had had fewer anecdotes and more information. There were tantalizing hints at all of the travel and research that Silver has done, but most of the book was anecdotes from other people who had used her method of focusing on accepting the future that the Divine had in store for you, and accepting the path you are on. Would recommend to anyone feeling like the world is against them.

Enjoyed the book but it felt repetitive. The whole book is basically "Chill out - your path is already selected for you. Nothing you can do will bring it sooner or later. And, P.S., Astrology is not entirely bullshit."
