It's slightly confusing in parts but so incredibly addicting. Read in one sitting while flying to family over the weekend. I love the reverse timeline so much. It's a rare timeline to find in literature. I love the little tie-ins throughout the book to keep different characters, motives, and plots in your mind. Seamless execution. I wish it were longer.

She definitely writes mysterious stories that has me guessing until the very end! I don’t think anything will match We Were Liars, but this was a good follow up. It wasn’t as hard to predict outcomes but the end twist got me!

The way this book is written is what makes it so wonderful. It starts at the end and back tracks, revealing more and more answers and details as we travel back in time with the main character. Beautiful writing. Really a page turner.

I liked this book quite a bit! It was very hard to understand but that's my fault, not the books. Although the protagonist is pretty insane, i really liked reading her perspective. When I got to the end, i think there was some kind of twist but it was hard for me to understand, again probably my fault. I think I'll have to read it again. I had to have enjoyed it though cause i finished it in one sitting.

cool how the timeline goes backwards so everything starts unravelling at the end but its all about identity theft n psycho besties.

didn't expect the plot to be like that and its not THAT interesting theres a bit of action and i got lazy to read those parts i wish it was more of her n her thoughts n like internal conflicts yk?

This book was a quick read, I appreciated the different setup of the novel by it going from present - past - present. However, it was rather easy to figure out what would happen next in the book as the story was told backwards. E Lockhart's writing is enjoyable, but I felt that this book just felt short with the plot. The characters were unlikeable and the ending made me question the protagonists' actions more so than I already did.
