We absolutely loved this story. Kate Albus has a way of writing that draws the reader right into the story and leaves you wanting just one more page. This historical fiction for children was quite delightful; it was full of so many emotions where you actually felt for the children as though they were real people you're actually reading about. Anna, Edmund, and William were such interesting characters, each in their own unique way. It's a story my eldest wants to read again and again.
