This might be my least favourite book in the series, and it's still almost 4 stars. I swear, Ms Lemming kills it every time!

Highlights of this book:
1- Alexis the sword. Because of course she is. I feel like she's not the best of friends, or a great confidant, but she is hilarious and I love seeing her origin story after getting to know her through the series.

2- The smut. It's always so good, but the hot springs and the flowers?!? Sign me up.

This is incredibly instalovey and instalusty so if those things bother you, this book is probably not for you, but I loved everything about it, tbh. It was fast, yes, but the novella is so short I feel like it needed to be exactly what it is.

I already want so much more!!

A small amount of fun fantasy story to provide an excuse to have a couple of very spicy scenes. The foul-mouthed sentient sword steals the show in this very short novella, which takes place after the events of volume one in this series. None of the characters from the first book show up, but the events from that book are referenced a few times to provide the setting for this story. There's not enough pages to give anyone here any depth, but that's not why you read this. It's all about the spicy scenes, which are well done enough. Oh yeah, I guess this is supposed to be holiday themed, but it only is because it's winter and there is some mistletoe in the book, so it can really be read anytime.
