This book is a wild, hilarious ride from start to finish! From the first line, I was hooked, especially with the talking sword and the weapons calling Ruby's dad "daddy"—I mean, what?! 😂 The humor is on point, especially when the weapons start talking about butt stuff and the red-light district—still cracking up! Ruby’s name is adorable, and I loved the dynamic with Lucca, the fox shifter. He’s mysterious, cute, and definitely keeps you on your toes.
The world-building is beautiful, especially the snow and nature descriptions. The fantasy elements are super fun—like the talking sword, Alexis, who I was SO happy to see pop up here after first meeting her in That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf. I loved her in that book, and seeing her again in Mistlefoe was such a treat! And let’s talk about the spice... whew, the spice is SPICY. I couldn’t stop laughing and blushing through it. Ruby’s attraction to Lucca and the tension between them was hot and hilarious at the same time. The hot springs scene? Phew, that was steamy, but in the best way possible. 😏
Lucca is a complicated character, and I appreciate that the book doesn't shy away from making him a bit of a player (but it works, especially for the spice!). The romance and tension were palpable, and even though there were moments where I wish the character development went a little deeper, I’m still totally invested in seeing more of these two. I need more Lucca and Ruby!
While the deity and demon stuff wasn’t totally my vibe, it didn’t take away from the fun and spice. If you’re in the mood for something that’s unpredictable, hilarious, and hot as fire, this one checks all the boxes. I can’t wait to see what happens next with this crazy, steamy couple!

Wish it was longer....but I did like it it was cute and fun even though I've had insta love and that's not my fav but it was cute and I liked the characters
