3.5 it’s always so challenging to rate a novella the same way I would a novel. The story had a little storyline and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely read more books by this author. I’m even more excited to read more books by this author now that I’ve read this book.
This book is about a woman who tries to get a fox to remove the curse from her father‘s blacksmith because they are losing money and he makes her a deal that she can’t refuse.

“There was something to be said about a woman with the confidence to unleash hell with a long sword.”
“A full week of being wined, dined, and my face buried between your legs.”
“You make it sound so easy. Sometimes it is.”
This was super cute! I love the Mead Mishap series and this novella was filled with laughter, love, spice, and a sassy sword! Alexis the sword was the comic relief and made me laugh in every scene she was in! Ruby and Lucca’s chemistry and witty & peculiar banter was very funny but extremely intense and hot in such a short amount of time. The connection and attraction they have, had me giggling from ear to ear! & ofcourse the spicy scenes were perfect. Lastly, I wish we got an additional scene from the Winter Festival of them together during the week they were there!

3.5. This was cute. Alexis, the naughty mouthed sword, was everything. I struggle with most novellas and this one could have had a lot more.
