I totally get what this book was trying to do, I just think they missed the mark on the execution. I was definitely invested and had some ideas of what might be going on, but I feel like the reveal was honestly very anti-climactic. I would still be willing to give another of B.A. Paris’ novels a shot, but I would definitely want to check out the ratings and reviews before committing to another blindly.

This was a pretty good read. I had somewhat figured out what was going on, but the details ended up different. I did not like Finn and that made me like the book less. Overall I enjoyed this and gave it 3.5 Stars that I rounded up to 4.

I had to get B.A. Paris’s last book when I finished the other 2 - I’m addicted. This one didn’t disappoint either. I can’t think of what to compare her books to...maybe really good Lifetime movies?

2.5 stars

This was terrible! It started out interesting but by part 2, I just wanted to finish it and get it over with. Main characters were annoying and I figured out the twist way in advance.

4.5 stars for me and that is because i wish she wouldnt have revealed somethings as quickly as she did. however i did not guess how things went down until the end of the book. a great, quick, easy read.

1.5 Bleh. Everyone saw the ending but the protagonist. Audiobook (female reader had an annoying voice).

This book was just creepy, which I love of course. Finn drove me a bit crazy with all of his guessing. What if it was this, it could be this, maybe it's this... or maybe not. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. B.A. Paris is becoming a favorite author.
