I really enjoyed referring to this book for daily reading. It was and continues to be a quick source of nourishment. I love how it uses Scripture, encouragement, and prayer consistently. The language is practical and simple. It's easy to grab a hold of the messages. The writing sounds familiar, comfortable. It would be a good go-to resource for any one looking to supplement their regular Bible reading.

I received this book free from the publisher through the Blogging for Books book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I'd recommend this for the Leviticus and Numbers sections, as those were in line with what I've come to expect and appreciate about this series of study guides. The provided guidance, commentary and cross-referencing were excellent for those sections. The Exodus section was decent, while the Genesis and Deuteronomy sections did not really add anything to reading through either book.
