I saw this and had to read it. I imagine someone will have issues with this. I even looked to see if it had been banned or challenged somewhere but I didn't see anything. I'm surprised because it had pictures of early man with no clothes on and an early woman who looked like she was breastfeeding a baby. OMG! I know!

I thought it was a great book that showed how life on earth has evolved over time and had lots of information. I learned a few things too. I might even have to read more of The Magic School Bus.

Book ten of the magic school bus, and this time the senses are explored, pretty much the same formula, although this one had a couple of differences, with a lot of educational details about the senses.
It truly is a good series.

Read with my son when he was in first grade.* He loved watching the Magic School Bus and the books were a fun way for him to learn to read too.

*He had to keep a reading log and I just found this when going through storage tubs.

A wonderful read from my childhood, one I’d certainly suggest for other youngsters. Whilst it is not my all-time favourite childhood read I can still recall all the details of this one meaning it certainly left a lasting impression upon my young mind.

And isn’t that what we want with children’s books, for them to leave a positive lasting impression?
