One of the most memorable parts for me was when the MCs had a mature conversation about their child. It was a moment that showed their genuine concern for their child's well-being. I was impressed by the MMCs unwavering kindness and gentle nature toward Charlie.
The romance was mediocre, but I realized that the point of the story was about second chances.
That being said, I was a bit thrown off by the suddenintroduction of a stalker in the story. The stalker's presence felt somewhat disconnected from the overall plot and detracted from the book's otherwise compelling narrative.
