Pretty good book, if you want to read a good old classic romance this is a good place to go because Emily Henry has a way of making a setting extremely romantic and fun and lighthearted without making you cringe. I didn’t feel gross reading this book the way I have with other book tok romances

Apparently I enjoy a saucy romance novel! This was a very fun read with plenty of sexual tension in the first 2/3s. The last third was lacking in plot and tension in my opinion.
While I flew through this and loved it, 3 stars because I don't expect to find myself thinking about this book in the future.

Oh this was so cute! I don't know if I've ever loved a book couple so much....but probably because they reminded me so much of my fiance and myself.
I put off reading this book because of how overly hyped it was, but now i'm on the Emily Henry bandwagon and will def be reading Beach Read very soon!

Bin noch so der große Fan von ‘Friends become lovers’- stories und hier war es besonders anstrengend weil Henry beide Personen besonders diametral zu einander ausgestaltet hat und beide trot ihrer angeblich langen engen Freundschaft einfach nicht. Miteinander. Sprechen. Bin es so leid, wenn Geschichten aus mangelnder Kommunikation erwachsen.

Ansonsten aber netter Urlaubsroman mit teilweise sehr witzigen Dialogen. Kann man lesen, muss man aber nicht.
