4.25 stars. Not quite as good as the first one, but still, highly addictive and compulsive. Less bombs dropped on us but a very entertaining read nonetheless.

Was looking forward to this follow up to the first story. While this one was good, the story wasn’t as flushed out as what I was hoping for and the story seemed a bit disjointed. That surprise at the end though, that was something!

Again, I can only describe this as “WTF”. The more I read, this might not be my style. But there’s only one more book in the series, and I’m not a quitter.
First I’d like to thank the author for the ARC she so kindly sent me and I must say, this was a fantastic sequel. I didn’t know what to expect going into this after that jaw dropping ending from The Arrangement, but I was pleasantly surprised. This series is so juicy and chock full of drama. Both books were such a fun and crazy ride. As always, Ainsley is 10 steps ahead of Peter, and every time he “thinks he’s protecting her” he’s making a bigger mess for them both and it makes me want to yell at him myself! I love that the author went into Peter’s back story and explained what made him the man he is today. This wasn’t as crazy as the first book and there weren’t as many twists, and I also got a strong Joe Goldberg from “You” vibe from Peter and I thought that was interesting. This was a great sequel and I cannot wait to see if there’s a third installment… from that last sentence there better be!
