Luffy, eres maravilloso.

This series will always be a 5 star read for me. End of Sabaody!

What a refreshing volume! This started out a little on the weird side, but I ended up really enjoying this volume! It was really nice to have a focus on one character and not be jumping around between several characters. I also felt things were slowed down and explained very well. This volume also was a highlight of why I like One Piece. I love it when Luffy is able to overcome enemies just by being himself and showing kindness and compassion to others. Yea it is fun seeing him rail on a bad guy, but it is really nice to see him soften hearts just by showing kindness to others. Things with Fire Fist Ace is really gaining traction and I am excited to see where these next volumes go!

I'm reading so much manga this year, and it feels so nostalgic. I've not read this much manga since I was in like 9th grade/the beginning of high school. But my mission is to add all the stuff I own physical copies of and some of all the stuff I've otherwise read... and it's quite the task.
Anyway, this volume. I like the idea of Amazon Lily, but I have a bit of a hard time accepting how the population is maintained. Women leave the island and come back pregnant sometimes... but they only have one ship (Boa Hancock's pirate ship) which really limits the amount of women able to travel out and sometimes come back pregnant.
Also the Danish translation and editing continues to not be the greatest. I'm sure they used to different words for haki, and that speech bubbles were switched at one point. Also just whole ass letters missing (fx one line of dialogue started with the word "why", but it basically only said "hy").

I can feel it, the rise to a gigantic fall. The feel of impending doom, and I know it has to do with Ace. I know in a few volumes times, I'm going to be crying, I can feel it. And I can't decide if I'm happy to know I'll be moved, or if I'm going to devastated for Luffy.
