Holyshitballs Batman!

I'm gonna start off by saying that I should've known what I was getting into when Yolanda Olson recommended this book lol. It was scary and gross and hot and sweet and gave me a headache but made my heart race and HOLY. S**T.BALLS. BATMAN.!

description

I had mixed feelings about EVERY character. VERY dark and twisted things happened in this book in case you didn't guess from the title and cover of this book. Snuff starts with Sofia who loses her mom and has to move to Russia to stay with her uncle. She gets noticed by some twisted people and is kidnapped.

Some scenes were very graphic and I wouldn't even be surprised if this type of things really happened somewhere in the world (I am praying it doesn't!!). Sofia has to act and do things to survive. Some of the characters were bipolar and ran hot and cold. I didn't know who to trust! It was really intriguing do but a bit on the short side. I am looking forward to the next book because this one ended with a cliffhanger. I can't even imagine what will happen to Sofia in the next book.

This book is VERY dark. I am a huge fan of dark books but this one is on a whole another level of DARK. So I don't think this book is for everyone. If you do love dark and can handle bloody scenes then I will recommend you to try this book.

This book is something else. It was interesting to get into the minds of Dimitri, Vadim and Sofia. It was really unpredictable to say what would happen in Dimitri's life. Like Sofia, I was scared of what would tick him or piss him off. When I read his story, God, I know he is sick but then you can help but to really understand him. The author has written in a way that you can understand and connect to their actions. I loved Sofia and her strength. I loved her passion for her skating, it kept her alive. There are lots secrets that will come out with will shock you. The story's flow is easy and good. Nowhere I struggled to understand. I will definitely read the next book!!

Highly recommended for dark lovers!

Have you ever read something so perverse, so depraved, twisted to its core, you feel surrounded by darkness? You abhor the actions taking place, but can't seem to stop yourself from traveling deeper into the rabbit hole. Right and wrong cease to matter. Good and evil are irrelevant. Only the journey exists, the ride to the finish.
If the answer is no, than you, my friend, have never read Bonny Capps.

Snuff was simply enthralling. The story dark, but oh so mesmerizing. I fell in love with these characters and became so emotionally invested, I honestly couldn't tell you whom I was cheering for, the villian or the slight slightly less sadistic villian.

Five stars for Bonny Capps’ Snuff. I'm fairly certain my mental health will never be the same, but it was so worth the loss. Sanity isn't all its cracked up to be anyways. ❤

Sofia didn’t have a care in the world, all she wanted to do was skate, that was until one fatal moment which changed her life for ever
Dimitri is the son of one of the leaders of the Russian Mafia, Vadim is his cousin, both have an interest in Sofia.
I found this a good read and couldn’t believe the amount of inventing ways to kill someone. Yes, these scenes were graphic but the character were doing this for the purpose of a snuff movie. I personally believed that Sofia had slight Stockholm Syndrome and she did have some sort of love for Dimitri. Throughout the story she had a love hate relationship with him but her character did become stronger and she wanted to try and change him and her situation. Vadim grew on me whilst I was reading and I did sense that he became more compassionate and was trying to make amends. Dimitri got my back up straight from the start, and he didn’t care who he hurt, he was power crazy and I despised him.
The story kept my interest and I found it a great read, it has everything from action, thriller, sex and violence. I like my dark stories so this was spot on. It finished on a cliff hanger but book 2 is out so I don’t have long to find out what happened to Sofia. This is the first book I have read by Bonny Capp but it won’t be the last

Once I started reading this book, I never stopped until the end!! So glad I just now came across it so I don't have to wait for the next one! First book I've read by this author and absolutely loved it. Her writing style is extremely engrossing, captivating, and gripping. You'll hate that you find yourself loving aspects of the men you should absolutely despise with your entire being.

Following is part of a review found on Amazon that I had to share. It describes my thoughts exactly.

"If an author can create a monster of all monsters and write so eloquently that the reader feels empathy towards said monster, then the author is no longer just an author or writer. He or she is now a gifted artist."

Excited to read a lot more from her!
