The Stone Sky is one of the best trilogy conclusions I’ve ever read. I didn’t realize how quickly I was making my way through this book until it was finished!

The writing is excellent. This will not be the last I read of Jemison’s work.

Highly recommend to anyone who likes sci-fi and is looking for a unique story. There were times I felt in over my head in the content, which is why I gave 4/5 stars. That makes me think, however, that I’m used to information being relayed point-blank; Jemison makes a point to unravel the story’s layers more artfully.

This trilogy made me a better reader. It explores themes of motherhood, love, and what constitutes “life” and “magic”. These are characters that will stick with me for a long time.
