Meh. I thought this was sort of a slog to finish. I didn’t ever understand what was happening. I don’t think it was poorly written- it was actually extremely well written. And I think she DID explain it enough, I’m just too dumb to get it? Maybe this is why I don’t read fantasy? It ended exactly like I assumed it would and I still have so many questions. Oh well. Onward! I got called up for the new Jack Reacher! #engelbrechtreads2021 #engelbrechtreads
