I loved this series! Very immersive and totally sucked me in. The last book was a bit slow but the ending was great. Sad it’s over!

Although it was pretty slow at points, the last 1/3 of the book was excellent. My main critique is just a lack of dialogue at times.

honestly still processing this one even months later. LOVED the ending. loved the slow unspooling of the history of the world. delightful! lost me at points but perhaps only because i couldn't give it the attention it deserved.

So let me start out by saying that I was pretty distracted while listening to the audio and I kept falling asleep on it because I’m 31 weeks pregnant. With that being said, I was super confused by the changes in POVs. I’m gonna have to read this again when there isn’t so much going on. From what I did actually retain, it was a great read. I especially liked following Essun’s journey as middle aged woman.
