An eerie, disturbing read that unnerves its reader without being overzealous or cheap. The illustrations are ghoulishly beautiful and the story is thoroughly original. My only issue was with the ending as it seemed so quick and unresolved.

Absolutely gorgeous book. Very dark but relatable at the same time. I love how so many questions are raised about his parents and his family history. That does play such a huge role in behaviour. I also loved how each girlfriend evolved into something more real and revolting. The idea of putting glitter on a vagina because vaginas should be special! Genius! All in all I m very glad to own this embroidered beauty.
