This book is horrifying and gorgeous and filthy - both in the way you’re thinking and also in the “covered in sweat, dirt, and blood” connotation. The contradictions in this work fascinate me; it’s gory and sexy and repulsive and honestly, I could go on, but I just finished this and I want to go stare at a wall and think thoughts.

Ridge is terrifying and tempting all in one breath. Wright is the calm before the storm. Sadie is one lucky gal.
This dark romance definitely kept my interest- so much so that I read it while in labor with my baby. Contractions don’t stand a chance against this story.

Stands apart from any other dark or paranormal romance I’ve read! Went into reading the ARC with zero expectations and little context, but quickly feel in love! The writing style took a little getting used to as it’s very descriptive but by the end of the first chapter I was hooked! This book made me gasp, tear up, laugh, and get a fair bit heated ;).
Already looking forward to rereading this. Honestly hoping there will be a sequel to this so I can continue reading Ridge, Wright, and Sadie’s story!
