Disappointing.
Had so much potential but ended up so convoluted and messy. The parts that were supposed to be impactful felt silly. The wrap up was anti climactic, the ‘plot twists’ were rushed, and so much of the interesting storylines at earlier points were just jaggedly cut off and tied up.
Big buffoonery.

I feel like I am the only one who didn't love this book. Maybe, it was because there was so little of Noah in the book. But I just didn't love it or really care what was happening through most of it. Mara turned completely crazy and no one cared. This who book was a bunch of the same stuff we already knew. A lot of the revelations didn't seem shocking. I felt it was bland honestly, and I missed the flair and mystery that all the other books offered.
I seriously loved this series to ruins. Like Mara loved Noah to ruins. It was a breathtaking and flowing read. I highly recommend to read about their journey and meet Noah Shaw who you'll find yourself count lucky to know. Or you'll question why you haven't met him before. Or read this book. Seriously.
pardon me while i go pick up the pieces of my heart and brain off the floor.

A fitting ending for a great series. Mara Dyer was a suspenseful thriller from start to finish, and my only regret was that it didn't last longer.
