Characters and dialogue weren’t working for me, and that was the central focus, considering that the actual mystery didn’t get underway until ch 9.

I actually enjoyed this Savannah Reid Mystery more than the others I’d been reading lately. It still gets a bit cheesy and sometimes feels like the author is trying to kiss someone’s butt, and is pretty simple, but I enjoyed reading it enough.

Book 22 in the series. Do yourself a favor and start at book 1. You can start here, and you won't be lost, but you'll miss out on a lot of fun!

I love Savannah. She's a plus-sized gal, and she doesn't care one bit what anyone else thinks. There's no body shaming here!

The whole crazy cast of character just adds to the fun. This time around they combine business with pleasure as Savannah's favorite author hires her to protect her, on a cruise. It was a nice, light read, if a little predictable.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book provided by the publisher, via NetGalley.

the first book i read among the 8 pre-loved books i bought !!! it was done nice overall but some of the chapters needs to be reduced still, great plot. didn't really expect it and accused other character lol. also granny reid made an outstanding role here! also loved some deep, and real life quotes. enjoyed the dirk-savannah moments too! my face went blue when i knew that they can't be having kids like tamitha and waycross :( i wonder if vanna rose will be like her aunt too! :)

Oh, Savannah! What possible trouble could you and your wacky entourage get into on a cruise? Plenty, it seems!!
Since I've never been a cruise, this book appealed to me from the start. To top it off, it was a mystery cruise where a famous mystery author was the main attraction. How I'd love to be a part of that! What I wouldn't want to get involved in would be a real life murder! The premise is fun and the elements of a good whodunit are all present. The only thing is...I had an inking about what the outcome would be very early on. It's a good read nonetheless and I would suggest it to any Savannah Reid fans! In fact, I read it in one sitting because I really wanted to find out what happened.
