I’m not a huge fan of the single parent trope but this one was done well and was super cute! Really enjoyed it!

Big Nick Energy is the fourth book in the Seasons of Revenge series, and it can be read as a standalone. This one was such a comforting read. While there is a bit of drama, there is also a no third act break up, which made this one so easy to read.
The FMC and MMC are both single parents, which makes this story so much more wholesome. Shae (FMC) is a really strong character. The ex-husband was abusive, and she escaped that marriage for the sake of her two little girls. While she is trying to juggle everything on her very full plate, she meets Connor, who is the son of Nick (MMC). The whole story switches between different timelines and gives us two POVs. The chemistry between the two MCs is amazing, and the interaction between Nick and the little girls is freaking adorable.
Overall, this is a must-read for every one who wants to read something sweet and comforting with a little bit of spice.

the title alone had me interested! shae’s backstory is so heartbreaking & nick is the most patient man ever! it was a very slow burn but understandable given shae’s history & their convos felt very repetitive too. still a good read tho & the way nick loves her girls is adorable. i love a good “daddy” lol. & he’s inspired me to do elf on a shelf next christmas! spice 2/5.
