I'm going to review each short story in the anthology individually with a star rating and short written review. The book overall gets a 4☆ rating as a whole though, which is a culmination of all the stories individual rating added together and divided by the 19 stories to give the book it ☆ rating as a whole. Now let dive into each individual short story review.
-The Waters of Lethe:3☆
Intresting concept, but not my favorite intro to this world. The story made sense and was enjoyable and humoriou. Overall liked it and found the dinamic funny.
-Coyote Full Moon:4☆
Very enjoyable but some political entrigue along with action and cultural diffrences and understanding.
-A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing:5☆
Loved, has a great redemption arc that was amazing to read. Also the relization of what important and what bullshit. The family dynamic and community views. Amazing
-Transitions:4☆
Intresting combination of modern tech and mystical magic. Really enjoied the characters, intresting and fun to get in the heads of the characters. The philosophical question was a nice touch.
-Fang of the Wolf:5☆
Love Heather and Sam and the dynamic that forms. It a cool student/teacher relationship and the bond that forms. There was a nice mix of spirituality and battle scenes.
-Hunter's Blues:4☆
Sad melincoly vibe and heart wrenchingly beautiful. The emotional elements, and how pain along with spiritual wounds change us and how we heal you heal those wounds.
-The Bye-Bye Club:2☆
Didn't really enjoy the concept or premise of this story. The werewolf element was non-exsistent in the story. The wrote taken was unenjoyable.
-Wolf Trap:5☆
Really intresting social and political insight into there social structure esspecially with children. Plus Erik behavior was indearing and a pleasent shift from some of the other stories, with the care of the wounded and young and being protective. And the idea of a possible happy ending.
-Predator and Prey:3☆
Beautiful writing, but story didn't keep my attention or intrest. The story was alittle slow with not alot happening.
-Lone Werewolf:5☆
Chet is a great character who is really sweet and lovable. I love that he got respect from the pack for following his heart and doing what he felt was right. There also the fact that those same actions helped him find himself. Poor Moonlight and Chet broken heart.
-Shards:4☆
Sad, but about rebirth and finding yourself. Also desiding what you want. All around a good message and vibe.
-A Day Off:4☆
Nice action with a message of anarchy . Not my type of story but still enjoyable.
-Little Flea:4☆
The repeat of Silent Fist and his helping a human family plus risking himself was a diffrent take with the werewolves. Then Justin growing up and maturing, then the Red Wood Forest being saved and finding out Silent Fist was ok made it really warm and touching.
-A Wolf in Shepard's Clothing:5☆
I like the viewpoint of homeless people as being human beings and deserving help and a second chance. The idea of compassion to those who have done wrong. The idea of faith, esspecially non-Christian faith as having good morals and being a positive guiding force.
-For Auld Lang Syne:4.5☆
One of the longer short stories in the collection, which flushed out the story and enhanced the story. All the moving parts the make you question what right and wrong. What motivates someone to act, and enemies uniting together to fight a common enemy for the protection of one we love.
-A Third World:3☆
The crossover of werewolves and werejaguars was intresting and expanded this world to include more supernatural creatures and connected them. Plus what would be a more normal and expected reaction to learning of this hidden supernatural world esspecially from a teenager perspective was refreshing because that wasn't shown in the other stories.
-A Useless Death:4☆
Idea of letting go of past issues for one own health and happiness. Plus coping with the death of loved ones and having that final piece after that death, and how that resolves issues for those left behind.
-Calley's Story:5☆
The dark edgy elements, questions of family and what is family. Is family the one your born into or the one you make. And what defines you as a person and shapes you as a person. The power love gives you and how loss of that love effects one self. These elements of the story makes it beautiful and haunting.
-Trickster Moon:2☆
Story pacing, along with it speed and transition of time along with location made for a confusing and jumbled story.

Short stories collection based on RPG's tend to have mixed stories: some very well done that trascend the setting and others that are purely written to players and not very well crafted. This is a fine read with some good takes even for the RPG (that is one of the best, in my opinion). Very well worth the read to get acquainted with the game.
