It has been quite a while since I've loved a book so much and given it a five-star rating. This book has been on my mind for years, but I hadn't bought it until after I had seen the movie, Love Simon, which I loved as well.

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda makes you feel warm inside. It's just one of those books that you don't want to put down once you get into it. To me, it was the perfect mix of teenage romance, drama, and comedy. Finally, my hope has been restored in young adult fiction! I read this during pride month and it was a perfect fit. This novel made me feel more comfortable with myself and more accepting of the things that I love. Simon vs. THSA is a book about acceptance and love and desire. It's an amazing read and I recommend it 100%. Simon's connection with Blue is a prime example of love, lust, and intrigue. While the movie is amazing, the book is definitely worth the read and, as always, I think that the book was better!

This was really sweet. Written very plainly with realistic and complicated characters. Easy to lose yourself in and read really quickly. Not a new favorite or anything, but I’m glad I finally read it.
