I’m pretty surprised at how much I liked this book. I devoured it. It’s nothing like the summary leads you to believe. It’s more about misunderstandings, personality differences, and misconceptions. It’s a wonderful character study with a splash of intrigue.

I couldn’t put this book down. I really didn’t know how it was going to play out. It had little nuggets of wisdom and intrigue. It wasn’t fast paced but kept me turning the pages.

Couldn't put this down - perfect beach read. The author really nails difficult family dynamics, shows how there is always so much more going on beneath the surface, and that there are at least two sides to every story. Relationships are complicated.
