At first I thought this was going to be a fluffy thriller but I enjoyed it much more than that. A dad escaping to the woods to live off the land with his daughter.

One of the best thrillers I’ve read in a while. Almost perfectly paced throughout, well written characters, and a solid, captivating plot.
I have a lot of mixed feelings in a good way. The story wasn’t black and white, the characters were flawed but very sympathetic. It was very thought provoking
I also have mixed feelings about the ending but some of those are good and some of those not so much. It felt a little rushed and vague and too good to be true.
