I did not find this funny at all. It was sad to listen to him try to put a "fun" spin on abuse, neglect, mental illness, and addiction. Its also another example of why I try to avoid listening to books read by the author.

If you're a Stanhope fan, then you'll read the book regardless of anything I have to say. If you aren't, then it's probably a bit too personal to be of much interest.
