Not as good as expected, or maybe it's the fact that I'm currently not engaged in any teamwork, that it doesn't feel like the right time to read and apply anything from the book. Many parts of the book are alike & repetitive.

Personally, I found most of this book redundant. Most of what was said could have been condensed to 100-200 pages. And as I had read The 7th Habit, I was already familiar with many of the story-examples he used. But there were some good points about self-improvement and leadership, so I can say I was able to walk away with more knowledge than I started with.

There's a lot of great concepts in this book, but I personally could use more everyday examples seeing them in practice.

An essential add-on to the 7 Habits, gets to the why behind the what and how of becoming a better leader.

Could have been much shorter and less business-oriented, but still great ideas that I would dare to boil down to a simple ‘Treat people, including yourself, with respect’.

I'm not going to rate this since I ended up skimming quite a bit of the book. I have had it for a long time, and started reading it several times. IMO, there is too much background information and then, on top of that, a whole summary of the 7 habits (which is covered in a separate book that I have read several times), before finally getting to the meat of this book. It did make me want to research some other writers referenced throughout, so I count that as a positive. I think many people will get a lot from this book.
