I've read most books by the Brontë sisters and this is definitely one of my least favourites. Our protagonist is a quite pretentious and obnoxious young man prone to stereotyping everyone he meets. The unlikable characters, together with a simplistic, uninteresting plot, make for a rather forgettable book...
