Not a lot of completely new stuff, but very good and made me laugh, which is rare in these types of books.

This is extremely helpful if you're trying to be a good student, but not really succeeding. It gives you handy step-by-step guides that you can actually apply while studying and especially helps you with effectivity, something that I regularly struggle with.

The best part? It's completely free! You only have to sign up to the newsletter of College Info Geek, which I really recommend.

Amazing book. So far the best I've read, really straight forward to I was looking for. Hoping to subscribe to his YouTube channel.

Me encanto. Me pareció súper útil y a la vez ameno, porque este joven es muy entretenido. De verdad que se los súper recomiendo, aunque por ahora solo está en inglés. Ya quiero contarles todo en el blog.

Loved the book. It was more important to me as a tool to realise that there's a lot I can change about myself to do better in studies. This gave me a positive starting point. I'm still yet to implement all the steps, but I'm glad I discovered it.

Unlike the majority of similar books, this study guide is really packed with helpful information. I've already started implementing these advices to my life and it makes a huge difference. Recommended to everyone who wants to study more effectively (also to be more productive and get better at time-management).

(I learnt about this book on youtube channel of the author. You should definitely check it out if you are interested in the topic.)

"The lesson here is to be deliberate about learning"

Thomas Frank once again gracing us with his tips and tricks with a free book. This is a quick flip through that would be useful to gte your head in the game before the semester starts. It's not too heavy or detailed, which makes application much more possible. The language was also simple, the standard Thomas Frank speech you would hear on Youtube, which I frankly find helpful to understand the content

This book is more of a spark for you to go out and figure out your study style than a guide. We all need that kind of push sometimes in life, and this is the book.

I'm just gonna list a few of my fave takeaways from the book:

1. Corson technique: When you're stuck on a tough problem, push yourself to work on it for 15 minutes and document everything you did during that period. If you still can't work it out, ask for help.

2. Elevate the importance of your notes by sharing it with friends.

3. Reading a textbook: "Instead of reading passively, read as if you were having a conversation with an intelligent friend. When she talks, you listen intently. When she pauses, you contribute your own ideas and, together, you create new information. You come away feeling energized, not drained."

4. Margin notes on textbook are helpful, like the Half-Blood Prince's Potion textbook!
