Concise book of study tips written by a former college student. I enjoy this guy's YouTube videos.

While I found some of the tips from this book helpful, most of them don't really apply to the Polish education system. I really liked how Thomas Frank managed to talk about so many aspects of studying and although it didn't benefit me as much as I hoped to I still really enjoyed it.

Unlike the majority of similar books, this study guide is really packed with helpful information. I've already started implementing these advices to my life and it makes a huge difference. Recommended to everyone who wants to study more effectively (also to be more productive and get better at time-management).

(I learnt about this book on youtube channel of the author. You should definitely check it out if you are interested in the topic.)
informative inspiring reflective fast-paced

I found his website about a month ago through his Youtube channel. A month later, I'm a huge fan of his work and I have subscribed to his channel and website. I have finally finished this book, and it was filled with great advice. The big difference between other college help books versus this one is that this is coming from a recent graduate. So all of his advice is relevant--especially for college kids today. He recommends apps and is an advocate of technology unlike other archaic ways of organization. Not only that, he gives different suggestions for the same advice so you can tailor it to your taste. Highly recommend for any college-bound or college going student. Thank you so much for your free book, Thomas! You're doing a great service to the education community!

it is a perfect summary for alot of books it has all the tips

This was a fantastic book!
I'm still in high school, but every single one of these tips helped immensely. I've found my note-taking and organizational skills have changed considerably after having read this, and the whole things is just filled with highlights on my Kindle app. Would recommend this to any student, middle school to PHD.

Thomas, your blog, book, and podcast have been encouraging me to be productive and get things done--without you, I doubt I would be going into finals week on honor roll. Thank you so much for this great book full of resources and tips! It's going to be something I re-read whenever I'm in a slump, I'm sure.

re-read twice in about a year, still useful both times. It's informative yet simple/chill enough to read on iBook when I have bits of time on the go (which I tried with Deep Work and quite failed - obviously). Actually searching for similar books like this now.
informative

Read this out of order according to which parts required prioritisation. Some chapters are pretty barebones/ the minimum, others can be found on Thomas Frank's Youtube channel. However, it was still a beneficial read, and I highly recommend it for late high school and early university students.

Detailed summary can be found here on my website.
