I found it readable but not loveable. Lots of different characters I sometimes struggled to remember everyone. Didn’t grip me as much as I’d hoped!

A delight to read. Had to stop myself from skimming ahead as I was reading. Thoroughly enjoyed the characters.

Honestly was not super impressed with this book.
I wasn’t a big fan of the writing style. But I don’t do well with dry sense of humor and wit. I was struggling to get into the storyline, so I got the audio to help.
The narrator was very monotone. I think it for the dryness of the writing. But still did not make me want to continue reading.

When I finished it the ending was just not it for me. It was literally the random guy to who got rich from town? Plus I called the involvement of the HR lady.
I felt no real connections with any of the characters. And the husband was just randomly mentioned and given a POV for nothing to happen with him?

I do not plan on reading any more by this author.
