Finally, a Kristen Ashley book/series that's better than OK. I was beginning to think all of the praise I kept reading about her writing was highly overrated, but I think I've found my Kristen Ashley niche. I love the world she has built here for FantasyLand, and can't wait to dive into book 2.
Frey Drakkar & Seoafin (Finnie): A Perfect Match! 5 Stars
This book was freaking amazing! Definitely an excellent start to an awesome, series-reading experience!
Seoafin wants to go on an adventure. Greiving her parents, she locates a witch that has a connection to an alternate world where her double resides in another reality. For a small fortune, the witch makes contact with the twin, and she agrees to swap places with Seoafin for a year. The swap is made and as it turns out, Seoafin's twin neglected to disclose some very vital information to her before the switch is made. From the minute Seoafin lands in this new world, she is trust into an adventure she may not be ready for: marriage!
This book is a work of genius. As I read the book, I got the strange feeling of deja vu... like I was transported to the 80s and watching an episode of a romantic, "Quantum Leap" right down to the "Ho Boy!"! What an original concept and the story pulls you right in from the first chapter!
Seoafin is hilarious and the peek inside her thoughts and mind gave really great insight to the character and its as if you were experiencing the journey right along with her. Frey Drakkar was so damn sexy, possessive and protective of his "wee Finnie" I became jealous, wishing that a man fussed over me the way he did. I loved them together and it was so sweet watching them grow into loving each other.
This is definitely a series that I will continue. We got a sneak peek into Book two and a little taste of future books to come and I cannot wait to dive back into this series and experience the next "swap"! Brilliant writing and I highly recommend this book!
Happy reading!

HOLLY SHITTT. Bueno me gustó, me tenía pal de confundida al final. Pero bueno lo disfruté.
Just finished my 3rd read of this book ... Yeah KA is pretty much the only author that I will ever reread this many times. It never gets old, I never get bored and it feels like the first time every time.
But I still miss the epilogue every time I read it :(

I have read Wildest Dreams three times, and I am just now sitting down to write a review for it. I have said before that a lot of Kristen Ashley books seem to be the same, and maybe that’s why I don’t always write reviews for them. What I can say about Wildest Dreams is that it’s unlike any other KA book that I have read. The Fantasyland series is just that, a fantasy book. I am a huge huge fan of the fantasy genre and with Kristen’s amazing ability to write romances, Wildest Dreams is one of my favorite KA books.
The whole premise of this series is that there is a parallel universe to ours where our “twins” live. Basically, each person has a twin in this parallel universe but that doesn’t mean they have the same mannerisms as we do. Seoafin, aka Finnie, lost her family at a very young age, and when she finds out about this parallel universe she jumps at the chance to switch places with her twin and hopefully see her parents again. This would be fine except the her twin didn’t let Finnie know anything about this alternate universe and the fact that she is moments away from being married to Frey Drakkar.
Of course, since this is a Kristen Ashley book, Finne and Frey end up falling in love (eventually) but it won’t be easy. Wildest Dreams has everything you would come to expect from Kristen Ashley. You have a heart melting romance and tons of action. You will never be bored in this book because there is constantly something happening. Whether it’s a murder attempt, kidnapping, or executions Wildest Dreams will keep you turning the pages.
Frey and Finnie are two of my favorite characters from Kristen. Finnie is adventurous and just really really sweet. She isn’t one to let the men take care of it. She’s willing to learn and fight for herself and for those she loves. Then you have Frey who talks to elves and commands the dragons (YES! THERE ARE DRAGONS!). He’s tough and pretty much the most powerful person in the entire world (again, he commands the dragons!). Both characters make really big mistakes but both are willing to own up to them. Plus, they are just so sweet together.
So if you are looking for a great fantasy/romance book then start this series. I have read all the books in the Fantasyland series, and they are all just as good as Wildest Dreams.

I needed a good solid read and I knew my girl KA would do me right. And oh boy did she! Seriously, who wouldn't love to have a badass warrior who was gentle and affectionate AND commanded dragons and elves??!!! And I LOVED Finnie! She asked for the adventure and she got it and she went for it completely...no whining and no major issues holding her back from her new world or Frey! I do hope that we see Apollo again and that he finds happiness.
3.5 stars.
I read Dracula when I was a kid maybe 13/14 years ago. It was paranormal as well as horror and I chickened out. Don’t be so judgmental, I was a kid. 😜 So, I said good-bye to horror and maybe other paranormal also got in that way. Glad to know that I am back.
I enjoyed it. While I was reading the book, I often remember the TV series and movies I watched. There were so many things like dragons, elves, Vikings, sleighs, magical trees, and witches…. This series is based on fantasy. To experience adventures A Girl travels to another world and find herself in the wildest dreams.
I liked Finnie (Seofin). She was a bit childish but also strong. She was a delightful character to read. On the opposite, Frey is a picture of an Alpha male.
I liked the chemistry between Frey and Finnie’s. She is from this world and he is from fantasy land. Obviously, there were lots of differences and conflicts but still, at the end, it worked out just fine.
I saw lots of the people questioning Frey’s decision about birth control and binding Finnie in his world. He did this without Finnie’s consent. Yeah, that’s wrong. He is an asshole and a domineering brute I get that, but people often forgot about Finnie doing. She came to this world and went with the flow like she is Sjofin (Finnie’s twin sister in fantasy land) and is this good? She married Frey and she was planning to leave after one year and switch her place with true Sjofin. Again, is this good?
I admire the fact that Finnie had tried to talk with Frey about the child before having sex, but I remember at the end of their conversation Frey neither agreed nor disagreed with it. Later Finnie started to take the birth control. Maybe she didn’t hide it from Frey but she also didn’t inform about it. Well, some of the people will be saying that it was entirely a woman's decision to decide whether or when she will have a baby. But I disagree. The decision doesn’t fall entirely on one partner. It doesn’t matter who the partner is, male or female? Both of the partner's consent is equally important. Finnie, my girl, why didn’t you inform about it? Well, you made a bad call, Finnie. And Frey you did the worst and I am not going to forgive you for it.
Another thing, when they were arguing about Viola, Frey behaves very badly and he wasn’t sorry about it. Instead, Finnie was the one who said sorry. What the hell?.... Other then that everything was ok.
Overall, It was good. I loved the whole idea of the parallel universe and identical twins. Obviously, neither Finnie nor Frey was perfect but Frey was gentle with Finnie and tries to fulfill her wishes of adventure throughout the book. Finnie also tries to understand the life of another world. The secondary characters of the book were very enjoyable...... Aurora, Atticus, The girls, Frey’s man, Skylar… even I liked Penelope also.
Overall, I didn’t love it but I liked it enough to continue the Fantasyland series and Paranormal Genre.

This book is one of the most magical, breathtaking and phenomenal love stories that I have ever had the pleasure to read! For me, there is absolutely nothing better than immersing myself in a Kristen Ashley book. Her characters, imagery, world building and story telling abilities are flawless, and I sincerely hope that she never stops bestowing the gift of her written word to us, her readers.
This is a change of pace for Kristen Ashley and I could not be more pleasantly surprised. This is a fantastical story of different worlds with interesting characters and dynamics. I can't wait to read the next in the series.
