This book made me love new characters, but hate old ones. I loved some parts, but certain lines detracted from Nesta's journey and I found myself hung up on those flaws. Certain plot points weren't able to make me suspend my disbelief. I will continue the series, but this book felt like a means to an end. I loved Nesta, but perhaps if some lines or scenes were cut, it would have been a stronger story.

The spicy scenes were great - and, not gonna lie, that's the entire reason I read this book bc I didn't like ACOTAR that much. I have some qualms with a lot of the rest of the story. The Valkyries were an unexpected and welcomed surprise.

My least favorite of the series but still have to give it five stars cause it is still very good, had some complaints on this one but enjoyed the character development and inspiration side of it, definitely looking forward to future books to get more of a story closure.

Just looking for a more complete ending but hopefully not the last book, still would give five stars as a series but found this one my least favorite, very inspiring and good development enjoyed the story, just thought some was unrealistic and unfinished

Absolutely loved the character growth and life lessons, I do wish there were a few more quiet casually intimate moments between Cassian and Nesta though.

I’ve never related more to a character than Nesta before. It’s a fabulous shift from the previous books in the ACOTAR series, and I can’t wait for the next one. Nesta is a complicated character who does indeed have toxic traits, but she also shows how you can grow past them and still be loyal, fierce and strong. “Climb the mountain.”
