PRETTY BOY was such an emotional and beautiful romance and I adored Sterling and Barrett together. They have such a soft and sweet relationship and I loved how Barrett took care of Sterling. He's protective, kind, and I especially liked that Barrett is a philanthropic millionaire. Barrett hasn't had the best luck with romance but he longs for a Daddy/boy relationship and when he meets Sterling tending bar in a small Texas town he's immediately attracted. I really appreciated how Neuhold handled the power imbalance between these two, especially considering Sterling's lack of confidence and younger age. Barrett is up front about what he wants in a relationship, he gives Sterling a few days to think about his choice, and he makes sure Sterling has an out if the relationship doesn't work out.
These two were sweet but also sexy and I loved how caring their relationship is. I'm a sucker for gentle heroes with big hearts so this hit all the boxes for me. It was also great to see Sterling gain confidence in his self-worth and to still maintain his independence even when Barrett was taking care of him. I'm looking forward to more books in this series because Neuhold definitely dropped some hints about some future pairings and I'm very excited.

Sweet boys have always been my weakness, but a sweet boy with claws when he needs them? Fuck, that’s the stuff of my fantasies.

“You don’t see yourself clearly, Pretty Boy.” I tilt his face up and press a soft kiss to his lips. “But that’s okay; I’ll keep doing it for the both of us until you’re able to do it for yourself.”

“You’re strong and feisty and independent. I don’t want to take care of you because you can’t do it yourself. I want to take care of you because you deserve it.”

This man really went "gosh darn, that's the fanciest meal I ever did see" about oatmeal because it had a handful of berries on top.
This is "naive, self-conscious virgin is swept off his feet by hot billionaire who becomes obsessed with him" but in the most ridiculous way and I can't do it anymore lol

2.5. Bored, and both narrators had awful accents for Sterling imo. Dnf @ 75 percent. Should have DNFed earlier.

Sweet daddy romance
I love K.M. Neuhold they always write beautifully emotional spicy books. It always hits all fronts on the emotional spectrum. I love a good daddy romance and this was a definite good one. Sometimes it felt a little rushed but overall I loved it and I’d recommend this to anyone is a lover of daddy romances.
