SUCH A GOOD READ!! I could not put this book down & read every second I had time. It was so fast paced & I needed to know more once I put it down. I love the main characters & the found family trope is everything! Highly highly suggest this book & cannot wait to read the 2nd & 3rd one!

This was really good. A YA written recently that, while having a few portions of predictability, were well placed. The twists and cliffhangers that weren’t predictable were enough to wrench your gut, particularly the last page of the entire story. Sure, there’s issues like Jaren being a Gary Stu type, but in this case with the surrounding story it was easy to get past. Definitely worth a read, especially since I felt I absolutely had to get the next book immediately after.
