I haven't actually read any of the Blue Blood series. I thought I'd dip my toe in with the graphic novel. I am intrigued and will probably give the series a shot. I just don't know how many more vampire stories I can handle. This one sounds a little different, though.

3.5 Got this as a birthday gift in May by a friend who knew I used to own most of the series and had enjoyed the first couple books of it I'd read. I have yet to dive back in to it, but this was a welcome refresher on the plot of the books!

I loved the art style, aside from just being gorgeous, I thought it did an awesome job of mirroring the tone and feeling of the book as I'd remembered it from my read-through a few years ago.

Not my favorite graphic novel, or even graphic novel adaptation of a book/series, but definitely enjoyable and made me want to get back into the original series!

Pretty good. I love the illustrations, but some of the text is tiny. The story line is also hard to follow so it works more as a companion piece than anything else. Still, I enjoyed it.
