I HATE third act breakups, it’s lazy writing. What a crazy coincidence that the FMC sits next to the MMC old fling who happens to be pregnant after she decides to become pregnant herself. Spoiler alert: the baby isn’t his so the characters spend 11 months apart for no reason. Additionally, pilots can’t see therapists or they lose their jobs (which is stupid, I know). Regardless of my thoughts on the third act it was entertaining at the very least.

Let me start with, the number of times this book made me cry should be embarrassing. 😅

Of course going in we all know this is a smutty romance, it's why we are here. This story though was so much more than that. It was beautiful. Outside of the main story (which held an exciting meeting, a whirlwind romance, a falling out and a second chance) we had a good showing of love and compassion and an example of a genuinely good person. This is an all around good read. Just make sure you have some tissues ready.

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have delivered another fun and sexy story with Playboy Pilot.

I loved Kendall and Carter’s spontaneous adventures and experiencing the various cultures through Kendall’s eyes. Their attraction is immediate, but I appreciated how the authors allow the characters to become friends before they become actual lovers.

They have a “no judgment” philosophy so Kendall accepts Carter’s playboy past—even when continually being confronted with a bevy of Carter’s ex-bedmates. By bevy I mean a ridiculous number of gorgeous co-workers. I’m not sure I could be so gracious. For Carter’s part, he looks beyond her spoiled rich girl problems.

The downside to the story is I just didn’t buy into Kendall’s dilemma. It’s nonsensical, and her solution is rather extreme. She also drags out her decision for far too long. I was able to put that aside for the most part, and focus on the enjoyable romance though.

Carter drastically changing his playboy ways in a matter of days is predictably formulaic and unrealistic, and yet it suited me just fine for a light read. The building chemistry between the pair is enjoyable, and even though I didn’t quite understand Kendall’s hesitation, the amount of sexual tension is perfect.

There’s nothing deep about the story, but I was in the mood for something quick and entertaining, and Playboy Pilot didn’t disappoint.

Not bad, not bad. I loved these two narrators.

Playboy Pilot gave us Carter and Kendall. They were easily lovable and completely predictable. Yet, it was a nice little audio to listen to while being stressed out at work. Oh lord, was it a stressful day that I could barely read a page on my kindle app. Then these two came into my life - and wham - I read a book. Well, listened to one but it counts.

Now these two were known to fall into drama. Whether we saw it coming or not. Carter is your typical playboy guy and Kendall is the one who somehow changes his way. Of course, they hit some hiccups along the way but one never stops rooting for them. Or, again, it might've been me?

Overall, the ending was super cute and I look forward to my next book.

Another emotional and hot romance by author team Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward.

Kendall Sparks meets airline pilot Captain Carter Clines in an airport bar while she's at a crossroad and contemplating a life changing decision. Sparks fly (pun definitely intended) and she ends up following him to Rio. Playboy Carter can feel the potential for more and convinces Kendall to keep following him, ultimately bringing her back home to FL.
After
an unplanned pregnancy
grounds their relationship before it has a chance to take off, they both have to figure out who they are and what they want - but is that each other, and if so - is it too late?

Not going to lie, some of the logistical impossibilities took me out of the story (like Kendall being able to just fly anywhere on a whim without worrying about visas or anything), and it's a little hard to believe that
someone who got arrested in a foreign country with incredibly strict decency laws would want to (1) stay there, (2) go back there later, and (3) be allowed back there later
, and I got a little annoyed that
Kendall was so hung up on Carter's past and then just walked away without even considering if the other woman was lying or trying to find a way to work things out with him if it was true
.  But overall the chemistry between these two characters was great and I was definitely rooting for them. I loved Carter's quirk of always having the right Beatles song for a given situation and his nicknames for Kendall, not to mention his swoony "real life" of taking care of his elderly neighbors in the "adult active community" where he lived.

I listened to the audiobook and the narration by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York was outstanding (as one would expect with those two stellar performers.)

Wow. This was cheesy, unrealistic, and perfect, lol. I loved our 2 main characters. They have trauma and grew up completely different, but it made them into the people they needed to be in order to find each other. Something about this story had my heart happy. I will say Captain Calvin was a better human than Kendall. Her character was just too selfish for me. Regardless, I loved this story.

I absolutely didn’t expect to love this as much as I did! It started as expected all around the world but I grew to love Carter when they spent time with his neighbors in Boca ❤️❤️. The third act breakup was hard to read but HEA in the end for everyone

Meh... I was really hoping this will be a good one, but it was just..meh.

Best part in the book: when Carter meets Chance and Pixie (from [b: Cocky Bastard|25772000|Cocky Bastard|Penelope Ward|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1436524506s/25772000.jpg|45620597]) at the airport.

It was easy reading... i loved the way its written....

Just a bit too chedder cheesy and meladramatic for me... had me cringing sometimes

I'm afraid this review might get long because I loved this book so much. Honestly, I love smut type books so that's what I expected this to be. I read an ARC for Stuck Up Suit so I figured this would be similar and equally as good. It was actually better than I expected! I'm trying to get in 5 more books before the end of the year to meet my Goodreads goal and NY resolution and this puts me one book closer. I literally started yesterday... Already recommending to friends lol. I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing from me. Also, this book has been all over my Snapchat. I usually highlight more parts of the book so I can put them in my review but I was so engrossed in the book that I only have a couple.

Let me just say that I hope the hot boy cover and smutty title don't turn you away from this book or if it seems like it might be corny. IT'S NOT! It's so much more than smut. But let me say, the sex is great. Also, sorry for using smut so much. I learned it on Goodreads :-)

The beginning of this story intrigued me because I love adventurous, chance encounter meetings cause those have never happened to me. I just love reading about stuff like that. Today, one of the lines I read stuck with me and kind of resonated because it applies to me and the guy I'm currently dating TMI sorry. "My heart was racing faster than it ever had after sex. I knew that was because for the first time in my life, it wasn't just sex; it was so much more." I put it on my snapchat and sent to a few people and they were all like "DAMN." Because anyone who has gone from a random hookup or sex with someone you didn't love to someone you are madly in love with knows that it's a HUGE difference. It's MUCH MORE ;)

The other line I highlighted today is "I think for the first time in my life, something has mattered enough for me to take a chance." Another thing that applies to my life because the person I'm dating is the first person I've ever dated and I never imagined myself having a boyfriend in college but he was worth it. And here we are, 2 months shy of a year of dating and I love him more than ever.. anyways, I love when parts of books make me go DAMN that's true.

I don't want this to get too long because I could literally write a novel on me liking this novel lol. If you're on the fence, read it. If you're wondering how legit the reviews are, they're legit. This book was great. Also, I love how the sex was intense and realistic, but not too forced in the description. I feel like some books try too hard to describe the sex that it doesn't even sound real. Obviously, you can see that I love this book. Hope everyone else does as well :-)

Edit: I also loved all the twists and turns and surprises. They happened naturally and weren't at all predictable and were very well placed. Again, can't say enough how much I loved this book. Can't wait to read more!
