This was a really cute book. I was hooked from the first page and it was really fun reading about the different dynamics between Darcy and Elle.

Knowing it was going to be a rom-com, you get exactly what you bargained for, but queer! Alexandria is great at writing tension that keeps you flipping pages.
The ending felt a bit rushed to me though, and compared to all the fireworks happening throughout the book, the ending just seemed to fizzle a little.

Okay, if we're doing the Pride and Prejudice thing I think there are 3 options for the names. Either we have an Elizabeth and a Darcy and nothing else, we have all the names from the book, or we have all of them loosely inspired by the book. The fact that this book gives us Elle and Darcy, and Elle's sisters Jane and Lydia, and then as far as I remember 0 other names? Just commit to the bit or don't!!! Who's Brandon?? His name should be George. Who's Daniel? It should be Mark. And if there's not another sibling the dog's name should be Kitty.

Anyways that's (mostly) the reason it took me taking this book out of the library 3 times to read it.
