I needed my time with this book bc it was a lot to digest in general (and tbh the almost 80 page introduction did not help to get my motivation up).
BUT each chapter it got more and more interesting, it was in general fascinating to read about his evolution, opinions and life. Even though I didn’t agree with some of his views (he is very harsh in some points) it really got me thinking.

It is hard to rate this book. It took me a long time to read, because it is a lot to digest. I would read a chapter and step away for a while. It was interesting and it is clear that Malcolm X was a very intelligent man. It is also difficult to read, as his ideas and beliefs can be harsh to read as a white person, which is why I wanted to challenge myself. Overall, I think it is very important to read or at least be aware of his journey.
