3.5 stars. I did enjoy this book although considering the suspense built up throughout I felt like we could have uncovered a lot more about Mr and Mrs England than we did.
As far as historical fiction goes, this certainly brought you clearly into another era. The plot was a bit choppy and I expected a much darker and less predictable book.
