Wow! Such a twisted story!
I listened to this on audiobook and I highly recommend it because the performances are stellar.
We are getting multiple points of view from the get go. A wife on the run from an abusive husband, and the husband searching for his missing wife. Right away things are confusing because their stories don’t quite match up.
I figured out the twist about half way in, but I still couldn’t put this book down. I had to see how all our characters were connected!
I thought the ending was fantastic and pretty satisfying.
Definitely worth the read.

Good book but predictable twist if you’ve read more than a dozen thrillers in your lifetime.

Basics - An abused woman goes on the run to escape, there's an investigation into a missing woman. No it's not Gone Girl. Similar Elements but I didn't feel the story was the same nor was meant to be.
I liked the narration, Pete Simonelli is a favorite of mine so that was a treat. I had purchased this on the daily deal and didn't realize he was a narrator.
Worth a listen, enjoyable and entertaining.

Sabine ha desaparecido y Jeffrey es el principal sospechoso.
¿Qué está ocurriendo realmente, y en quién se puede confiar?
La prosa de este libro es bastante digerible y los capítulos me parecieron lo suficientemente intrigantes como para continuar escuchando (en la aplicación "Storytel") hasta el final de cada uno de ellos. Tiene un giro que encontré suficientemente difícil de predecir hasta el último momento, lo cuál me parece una cualidad fantástica en un libro.
Únicamente señalaría que tiene algunos errores de investigación, que afectaron la creación de los personajes. Por ejemplo, un personaje que es una mujer mexicana, insulta diciendo "cojones", la cual es una expresión completamente ajena a México. Me habría gustado que la autora cuidase más esos detalles.
Como impresión general, sin embargo, me pareció una buena novela, que sí cumple lo que promete.
